  • Platform: Our website, applications, and related services accessible via any device
  • User: Any individual or entity accessing or using our services ("you" or "your")

Subscription Terms

  • Subscription: Recurring paid access to premium features
  • Trial Period: Initial 7-day access period available for $1.00
  • Standard Subscription: Recurring paid access following trial period
  • Billing Cycle: The frequency of subscription charges (weekly, monthly, or quarterly)

Force Majeure

Circumstances beyond reasonable control preventing or delaying service delivery, including natural disasters, government actions, war, cyber attacks, network failures, pandemics, internet service provider outages, power grid failures, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

IQ Testing and Training Disclaimers

Educational Entertainment Purpose: Cerebrum provides IQ testing and brain training services for educational entertainment purposes only. Results should not be relied upon for academic, professional, or medical decisions.

Testing Limitations: Test results may not reflect actual intelligence or cognitive ability and can be influenced by environmental, technical, and personal factors.

Training Program Disclosure: Brain training content is based on general cognitive exercise principles. Effectiveness has not been independently verified, individual results vary, and in-platform progress may not translate to real-world cognitive improvement.

No Professional Advice: Services do not replace professional psychological, medical, or educational assessment. All use is at your own risk. No guarantees of cognitive improvement are made. For clinical assessment needs, consult a licensed professional.

SECTION 03

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cerebrum's website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. Your continued use following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

SECTION 04

Account Eligibility and Security

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and of legal age in your jurisdiction to use Cerebrum. Age verification may be required.

Account Rules

  • One account per person
  • Must provide valid email and accurate information
  • Keep credentials secure
  • Report unauthorized access promptly

Data Retention: Accounts that remain inactive for an extended period may be permanently deleted, along with all associated data. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify you before deletion.

SECTION 05

Subscription Services

Subscription Options

Subscription plans are available on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis, each with an optional 7-day trial for $1.00. After the trial, subscriptions automatically convert to the selected plan rate. Only one trial per user is available.

Standard Subscription Plans (Base Pricing USD)

Weekly Plans:

  • Basic: $9.99/week
  • Premium: $14.99/week

Monthly Plans:

  • Promo: $14.99/month
  • Standard: $29.99/month

Quarterly Plan:

  • Premium Quarterly: $39.99/quarter

Regional Pricing

Final rates may vary based on location, applicable taxes, promotions, and other factors. The price presented at checkout is the amount you will be charged.

Payment and Billing

  • Payments are processed via PCI-DSS compliant providers
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the rate in effect at sign-up
  • Pricing changes apply only to new subscriptions
  • Failed payments may be retried; account may be suspended afterward
  • Bank fees for declined payments are your responsibility

Cancellation

Cancel through our self-service portal or help center. Service continues until the current period ends. No automatic renewals after cancellation. No partial refunds for unused time. Account reactivation is available at current rates.

SECTION 06

Refund Policy

Trial Period Refunds ($1.00)

Eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase if: first-time trial user, no previous trial refunds, no terms of service violations, and request submitted through official channels.

Regular Subscription Refunds

Not eligible for refunds except in these specific cases:

  • Service Unavailability: Material service unavailability not caused by scheduled maintenance or force majeure
  • Technical Issues: Platform bugs preventing core feature access, reported within 30 days and verified by our team
  • Billing Errors: Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or unauthorized transactions
  • Legal Requirements: As required by applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • Unused Service: Customer has not used the platform during the billing period, or failed to cancel before renewal

Non-Refundable Cases

  • Partial/unused subscription time after cancellation
  • Plan downgrades
  • Feature unavailability during maintenance
  • Change of mind after actively using premium features
  • Failure to cancel before renewal where the customer has actively used the service

Submit refund requests via the Help Center, Self-Service Portal, or email. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

SECTION 07

Intellectual Property and User Content

Ownership Rights

All platform content and functionality are owned by Cerebrum and protected by international copyright laws. All trademarks and service marks are proprietary.

License and Restrictions

You are granted a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use Cerebrum's content. You may not modify, reproduce, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or create derivative works from any platform content.

User Ownership

Users retain ownership of all content they submit, including profile information, test responses, and any custom content created. Your personal data remains your property.

License to Cerebrum

By submitting content, users grant Cerebrum a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable license to use that content for displaying, optimizing, analyzing, research, and statistics purposes.

Content Restrictions

Users are prohibited from submitting copyrighted material, malicious code, harmful content, inappropriate material, or deceptive information.

SECTION 08

Customer Support and Complaints

Customer support is available via the Help Center, Self-Service Portal, and email at [email protected].

We typically respond to inquiries within a few hours, though response times may vary depending on volume and complexity.

Complaint Resolution: Email us with your name, account email, and a description of the issue. We will acknowledge receipt and aim to resolve complaints promptly. If unsatisfied with the resolution, you may escalate by emailing with your reference number.

SECTION 09

Limitation of Liability

The maximum aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for services during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Excluded Damages

Cerebrum is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of test results or the effectiveness of training programs.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cerebrum from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms, misuse of services, content you submit, violation of applicable laws, or infringement of third-party rights.

SECTION 10

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any legal action must be filed in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Mandatory Arbitration

We encourage informal resolution through direct communication within 30 days. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. Filing and arbitrator fees are shared equally.

Class Action Waiver

You waive the right to participate in class actions, class-wide arbitration, consolidated claims, or representative actions. All disputes must be resolved individually.

Exceptions to Arbitration

Arbitration does not apply to intellectual property disputes, small claims court actions, or requests for emergency or injunctive relief. All claims must be brought within six months of the incident date.

SECTION 11

Service Modifications

Cerebrum reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of its services, with or without notice. Material changes require 15 days advance notice via email. Emergency changes (security, legal compliance, Force Majeure) may be implemented immediately. You may terminate your subscription if you disagree with material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

SECTION 12

Account Termination

User-Initiated Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the self-service portal, Help Center, or email, with no termination fees. Your current billing cycle runs to completion with no refund for unused time.

Cerebrum-Initiated Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for policy violations (including fraud, abuse, security breaches, payment defaults) or for legal and regulatory reasons.

Post-Termination

Upon termination, all access is immediately revoked. User content is archived for a limited period, after which it is permanently deleted. Account data is retained only as required by law. Any remaining credit balance will be refunded.
